Normale Version: [NSFF] Proposal for minor rule change

Since the line of scrimmage for an extra point kick attempt was moved back to the 15-yard line, I think that -3 points is too much for a missed extra point. My kicker finished with 0 points in week 15 due to a missed kick which happens more often since last season. Maybe we can reduce this penalty? What do you guys think? It's really just a minor change of our rules.
It's possible, thanks for putting it up for discussion here.

In my opinion I'm never really sure if a minor change in scoring is worth making the change at all? Let's say it was -2 instead of -3, would that have changed the outcome of any games? Are the Ks being treated unfairly because of this punishment for missed PATs as opposed to missing a FG from that same distance?

I'm open to change but it's good to hear opinions from everyone else.
While I can not say if it would have changed any past games it most likely will change a future game at some point. Therefore I think that even minor changes of rules that affect the scoring of the games are always worth it if there is enough justification. The idea of the rule was to punish a missed XP that used to be kicked from the 2 yard line. The NFL broadened the distance of an attempt by 13 yards and we want to keep the old rule? I don't see a reason why that would not affect our rules. I would reduce it to -1.
I agree.

Suggestion:
Why not set up a voting?
Three alternatives -1 / -2 / -3

What do U think, commish?

It's a good idea. I was hoping for an open dialogue before getting to the voting phase.
