Chris (Weiner Schnitzels)
Hi Chris,

I don't know about the other guys around here, but for me it's no problem. I am glad to have an opportunity to refresh my English a little bit.

for translations try http://www.leo.org it is one of the best dictionaries in the web.

BTW: it is pronounced Wiener Schnitzel, not Weiner ;-)

Uwe (Marburg Crusaders)
I've no problem if you post in english. I think the other guys read all the informations and news about football and the NFL and this ist all in english too, so what?
For me English is fine as well. Welcome to the league.
I'm embarrassed by my misspelling of the word "Wiener Schnitzel". I know it's not a wine schnitzel, thus I should know how to spell it correctly. DOH! However, thanks for being open to English. I use Google Translate for direct translations (they can do a string of text, where as Leo is only a dictionary), so if it's easier for you to say something in German please don't hesitate to do so.

Regarding the trades, my feeling is that they should be opened once the season (our season, not the NFLs) has concluded. Like in the real football season, roster moves such as trades and cuts are allowed prior to the free agency period. Waiver acquisitions are limited, and due to the nature of our league (keeper league with rookie involvement on the roster) I would think the waiver limitation during our offseason and prior to the Veteran Draft would be for any rookies (to fulfill roster obligations) and for any player that WILL be a kept player.

In other words, I'd like to see trading enabled today. Smile Since my understanding is that a rookie MUST be kept as 1 of the 4 players, it makes for some interesting maneuvers some players must make to accommodate the rule.

So in my opinion, let the trade offers commence!
Since the NFL season officially begins Friday and trades in the NFL will be allowed as of that day, will we follow suit and open up trades to our league on Friday?
