ESPN übernimmt NASN - Samsker - 08.12.2006

Hallo!
Auf der NASN-Homepage wurde heute bekannt gegeben, dass ESPN NASN übernommen hat:

Zitat:ESPN today announced it has agreed to acquire NASN, the only European channel dedicated to North American sports, from Setanta Sport Holdings Ltd and Benchmark Capital Europe. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and the deal is expected to close early next year subject to regulatory approvals.

Positiv an dieser Nachricht dürfte sein, das man dann in Zukunft wohl die eine oder andere ESPN-Sendung im Programm von NASN erwarten dürfe.

Allerdings bin ich mal gespannt, was das für die NFL-Berichterstattung bedeuten wird, da NASN ja hauptsächlich NFL Network-Material sendet und ESPN und NFL Network sich ja nicht gerade freundschaftlich gegenüber stehen...
