In my opinion using conditional draft picks is a great idea because they add more complexity to trades and make the game more interesting. In fact I think we should explicitly allow these kind of trades in our rules.

Here just a short explanation WHY we inserted the conditional stuff:

During trade discussions I mentioned to Chris that A.Johnson has much better matchups during playoff weeks 14, 15 and 16. And I wanted to have some kind of compensation in case I loose a playoff game due to that trade.

I think that's understandable.

And guys, as nikro mentioned: Those kind of picks add complexity and in this case a lot of fun to trade discussions. I really loved how this trade discussion developed. (And after one week after the trade, I loved the outcome ;-) )

Hättest mir ein besseres Angebot machen sollen
Für mich ist Roethlisberger und Miller eine Steigerung auf beiden Positionen und Roethlisberger der beste QB, den ich bekommen und auch keepern kann. Eli und Palmer sind in etwa gleich stark, wobei Palmer sogar etwas besser sein sollte, hat jetzt bald einfacheren Schedule. Edwards hat entweder nichts gebracht oder saß bei mir fast nur auf der Bank. Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen ist der Drittrundenpick aber es gibt ja noch in der Offseason genug Gelegenheiten zu traden.
