wir hatten eben ein Add-Drop-Add für den selben Spieler (RB aus NE) innerhalb von 5 Minuten, bei zwei Teams involviert.

Was ist passiert? Ist das "legal"?
Der Spieler hätte doch nach dem Drop auf den Waiver gemusst, sonst hat niemand eine faire Chance?!!

This was not a case of circumventing the waiver process but was actually a resolution to a mistake in our rules which led to Dion Lewis being dropped in the first place. I'll give the full story for transparency:

On Monday (29.8) Chucky asked me for clarity about the IR spot, specifically if he was allowed to use his Injured roster spot for a player with the PUP designation. I didn't remember off-hand so I checked our rules and sent him the specific passage which did NOT say PUP was allowed, therefore I told him he was not allowed to use a PUP player in the "Injured" spot. This information was incorrect.

On Tuesday (30.8) Chucky dropped Lewis.

On Saturday (3.9) Uwe claimed D. Lewis from Free Agency -- this appears in the transaction log as 2.9 but it was after midnight in Europe. Uwe and I discussed the Injured spot and looked through the forum for clarification on any past decisions regarding the PUP designation. At this point we realized that our rules in the forum did not accurately reflect the last change regarding the PUP/IR designation which was made in 2013. Therefore the information I gave Chucky was incorrect and he dropped his player due to this reason.

We decided that the only fair solution was to place Lewis back onto Chucky's roster, with the justification that the player was only dropped because of the inaccurate rule. The only affected owner in this proposed solution was the owner that claimed Lewis, i.e. Uwe. Obviously he had no objections to this decision.

I hope this provides you a little clarity as to why Lewis was reported to be added, then dropped, then added again without going through the proper waiver process.

I actually claimed Lewis by mistake while I was putting him back into Chucky's roster -
In 2013 we made a rule change that allows PUP players on the IR spot, but this is not mentioned in the rules but only in the forum's archive - I will change the wording accordingly - As Chris wrote, Chucky dropped Lewis because of false information, thus we put him back into his roster
