SuperDuper

Rickey Dudley - TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Feb. 23, 6:13 p.m.
Dudley is coming off a good season and should attract some competitive offers from rival teams. The Bucs wants him back, but the lack of funds may force the team to let him go. (Roy Cummings/TSN)
Fantasy Spin: By no means is Dudley a top-10 tight end, but he could be worth a late pick if in the right situation.

SuperDuper

Rodney Peete - QB, Carolina Panthers Feb. 22, 1:35 p.m.
Last season, Peete showed he still has something left. He wants to return and the Panthers want him back. But the team won't give Peete a huge contract because he's viewed only as a short-term starter or a backup to mentor a young quarterback. (Pat Yasinskas/TSN)
Fantasy Spin: He might have something left on the field, but his fantasy value is all but gone.

SuperDuper

Lamar Smith - RB, Carolina Panthers Feb. 22, 1:34 p.m.
Smith could be on his way out after drawing a five-game leave of absence after an arrest for driving while impaired. (Pat Yasinskas/TSN)

SuperDuper

Derrius Thompson - WR, Washington Redskins Feb. 22, 1:22 p.m.
Thompson appears to be ready to hit the market and should draw some interest. He has good speed, decent hands and his size makes him a good target. He’s tough, smart and now has the confidence he needs to be a contributor. He was a starter most of last season, but the Redskins feel it will find someone better in the free agent market. (Paul Woody/TSN)

SuperDuper

Zack Crockett - RB, Oakland Raiders Feb. 22, 1:17 p.m.
The Raiders need to re-sign Crockett because they likely will lose backup running back Tyrone Wheatley, who lost his starting job to Charlie Garner two seasons ago and covets a starting job. Also, Crockett is their best short-yardage back and a core special teams player. (Steve Corkran/TSN)
Fantasy Spin: His value would increase if Wheatley leaves. He already got a ton of goal-line carries last season, but would receive more opportunities with Wheatley gone.

SuperDuper

Rickey Dudley - TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Feb. 22, 12:01 p.m.
Dudley is coming off a good season and should attract some competitive offers from rival teams. The Bucs wants him back but the lack of funds might force the team to let him go. The team is well stocked at tight end, where it has third-teamer Todd Yoder and promising Casey Crawford. (Roy Cummings/TSN)

SuperDuper

Steve Beuerlein - QB, Denver Broncos Feb. 22, 11:00 a.m.
If the Broncos do land Jake Plummer, it's doubtful that Beuerlein would return. If Plummer goes elsewhere, Beuerlein could be the starter for one season and the Broncos would likely use a first-or second-round draft pick on a quarterback. (Patrick Saunders/TSN)

SuperDuper

Jake Plummer - QB, Arizona Cardinals Feb. 22, 8:26 a.m.
The Cardinals would like to re-sign Plummer, who's been inconsistent over the past six seasons. Plummer just finished the final year of a four-year contract that paid him $29.7 million, including a $15 million bonus. The team doesn't want to commit much guaranteed money to Plummer this time around, and it wants him to compete for the starting job with Josh McCown, a rookie last year, and any free agents and draft choices that will be acquired. It's hard to see Plummer going for that, given that other teams, including Denver, are ready to offer him more money and better opportunity. (Kent Somers/TSN)

SuperDuper

Shawn Jefferson - WR, Atlanta Falcons Feb. 22, 7:55 a.m.
The Falcons released Jefferson on Friday. Jefferson's history of playing through injuries finally caught up with him in 2002. A bruised foot caused him to miss a Week 11 victory over the Saints, just the second game of his 12-year career. His season highlights included a career-best effort at Pittsburgh (nine catches, 131 yards) and a 10-yard touchdown catch against the Packers in the playoffs.
Fantasy Spin: He should find work, but he’s not a good option at receiver at this point in his career. (Jeff Paur/TSN)

SuperDuper

Terry Glenn - WR, Green Bay Packers Feb. 25, 11:18 a.m.
A year after trading for Glenn, the Packers are looking to unload him, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The newspaper reports that the team has given Glenn permission to seek out a trade. If Green Bay doesn't find a taker, it's likely that the team will cut him.
Fantasy Spin: Imagine that: an NFL team souring on Glenn. The team can afford to make this move thanks to the emergence of Donald Driver as a No. 1 receiver. If Glenn leaves, Robert Ferguson and Javon Walker will battle for the second starting spot. As for Glenn's value, we'll have to see where he latches on before deciding. (Rob Hurtt/TSN)
