SuperDuper

Kurt Warner - QB, St. Louis Rams Feb. 16, 6:06 p.m.
Warner isn't going anywhere. If the Rams can't renegotiate his $6 million roster bonus by the end of this month, they will simply pay it. As well as Marc Bulger played last season, he still suffered fairly significant injuries twice in seven starts, so his durability remains unproven. In addition, the Rams wisely don't want to jettison Warner after one subpar, injury-plagued season. Besides, by trading Warner, they would have to absorb more than $13 million of "dead money" -- money that would have counted against the Rams '03 cap even though Warner was with another club. (Jim Thomas/TSN)

SuperDuper

Aaron Brooks - QB, New Orleans Saints Feb. 16, 6:04 p.m.
Brooks, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder Jan. 17, has begun rehabilitation at the Saints’ practice facility. The target for his return is remains the May 2-4 minicamp. (Jeff Duncan/TSN)

SuperDuper

Danny Farmer - WR, Cincinnati Bengals Feb. 16, 6:02 p.m.
If the team acquires another wide receiver, Farmer is a candidate to be released. He's a terrific leaper with great hands, but he's a one-dimensional possession receiver who doesn't play special teams and has trouble staying healthy. (Chick Ludwig/TSN)

SuperDuper

Chris Redman - QB, Baltimore Ravens Feb. 16, 6:00 p.m.
Redman, who started the first six games before being sidelined for the season with a herniated disc, is expected to begin throwing lightly in three to five weeks. Redman had surgery Jan. 17 and is working on strengthening his upper body with little stress on his back. The Ravens are keeping an eye on Redman because his status will dictate if the Ravens need to sign another quarterback via free agency or the draft. (Mike Preston/TSN)

SuperDuper

Freddie Jones - TE, Arizona Cardinals Feb. 16, 5:58 p.m.
Jones led the Cardinals in receptions last season, but that's only because of the injuries at receiver. Jones never became a consistent threat in the offense, and that's something offensive coordinator Jerry Sullivan has to fix. (Kent Somers/TSN)
Fantasy Spin: And he has nearly fallen off the fantasy depth chart at tight end.

SuperDuper

Darnell Sanders - TE, Cleveland Browns Feb. 16, 5:56 p.m.
Sanders has the best combination of speed, size and athletic ability (he was a high school quarterback) among the Browns’ tight ends. He got a late start last year as a rookie because of finishing up classes at Ohio State, and never really caught up. If he can get bigger and stronger this offseason, then he could be a very productive player for this team. (Steve King/TSN)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaron Shea - TE, Cleveland Browns Feb. 16, 5:55 p.m.
The re-signing of Steve Heiden to a two-year contract could spell the end of Shea's time with the Browns. Shea has proven to be brittle, finishing the last two seasons with injuries. Last year, it was a high ankle sprain, and in 2001, it was a separated shoulder. The reason for those injuries is that, at 245 pounds, he simply is too small to take the pounding of catching the ball in traffic and to be a lead blocker on running plays when he slides over to the H-back position. (Steve King/TSN)

SuperDuper

Kelly Holcomb - QB, Cleveland Browns Feb. 16, 5:55 p.m.
Trade rumors continue to swirl around Tim Couch. The Bears supposedly are interested, but the identity of the team is really not important. What is important is for the Browns not to jump the gun too quickly and simply turn the job over to Holcomb without knowing what he'll do over the long run. He has not played enough -- he had just three starts last year, all against teams with horrible pass defenses -- to determine that. (Steve King/TSN)

SuperDuper

Travis Brown - QB, Buffalo Bills Feb. 16, 5:53 p.m.
Brown might be ready to challenge Alex Van Pelt for the No. 2 job behind Drew Bledsoe. Brown has decent size (6-3, 212), a good arm and the mobility to elude pressure. Though he didn't get a snap last season, the team likes his work ethic and upside.
Fantasy Spin: Brown will need a strong offseason to unseat Van Pelt in training camp. Van Pelt doesn't have a big arm, but he's a very intelligent signal-caller with a great feel and knowledge of the game that Brown does not have. (Allen Wilson/TSN)

SuperDuper

Daniel Graham - TE, New England Patriots Feb. 16, 5:51 p.m.
This will be an important offseason for Graham, whose rookie season was derailed by injuries. Graham has all the tools to be a dominant player, but he has a long way to go to become that. Primarily, Graham must become more consistent catching the ball, as he dropped far too many easy chances last year. (Michael Felger/TSN)

SuperDuper

Anthony Thomas - RB, Chicago Bears Feb. 16, 5:50 p.m.
Bears GM Jerry Angelo and others don't see Thomas as one of those elite backs who can take over a game, but rather is more the sum of the offensive parts. It now appears that Angelo has dialed down running back as an offseason need, one that possibly would have been addressed in the first round. The Bears believe they can win with Thomas and second-year man Adrian Peterson, even if neither is truly a win-because-of guy. (John Mullin/TSN)
